1. OUR COMMITMENT

TooLong.XYZ is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

We believe that AI-powered video summaries can make knowledge more accessible — transforming video content into readable text that works with screen readers, assistive technologies, and diverse browsing environments.

2. STANDARDS WE FOLLOW

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including:

• Motor impairments
• Cognitive and learning disabilities

3. WHAT WE'RE DOING

We have taken the following steps to ensure accessibility:

• Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA attributes throughout the application
• Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Focus indicators are visible on all focusable elements.
• Screen Reader Support: Content is structured to work well with screen readers. Summaries are presented as structured text, making video content accessible to users who cannot watch videos.
• Colour Contrast: We aim for sufficient colour contrast ratios across our interface to meet WCAG AA standards
• Responsive Design: Our interface adapts to different screen sizes, orientations, and zoom levels
• Text Alternatives: Images and non-text content include descriptive alt text where applicable
• Readable Content: We use clear, simple language and readable fonts with appropriate sizing

4. KNOWN LIMITATIONS

While we strive for full accessibility, we are aware of the following areas for improvement:

• Some third-party embedded content (e.g., YouTube video previews) may not meet all accessibility standards
• AI-generated summaries may not always use the clearest language structure for screen reader users
• Some decorative elements in our neo-brutalist design may have contrast ratios below WCAG AAA standards (we meet AA)
• Older PDF or exported content may not be fully accessible

We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome your feedback to help us improve.

TooLong.XYZ is designed to be compatible with:
